Whenever anyone asks me where I want to go eat in San Francisco, it seems I always respond "Izzy's".
I have been coming to Izzy's for probably 15 years and still rate it tops. The steaks are ALWAYS tender and juicy, the bartenders know their business, and the crowd is usually upbeat and fun. In addition to the steaks, you have to try the "Izzy's Potatoes", their version of augratin, and the creamed spinich. They are as good as it gets!! Izzy's is a true San Francisco establishment. Once inside, its hard to tell if it is 1904 or 2004. The place is comfortable, old San Francisco... small, a bit noisy, but a lot of fun.
In case you can't tell, I LIKE Izzy's!
