I live in Roscoe Village and I have never understood all the buzz about Kitsch'n. I've eaten there on several occassions and always felt it was a average to below average experience. The restaurant is crowded because it is quite small and offers a limited menu which is less than inspiring. The cramped quarters does not contribute positively to the ambiance and as there are often small children present it makes for a noisey, hurried meal. It's clean and the service is always pleasant, and they do serve a tastey bloody mary, but if you're looking for a comfy, casual brunch try another restaurant. Pros: service, bloody mary Cons: small, crowded rooms, loud
