I discovered the pleasure of dining at Mr. Han's when I started at the University of Florida in 1986. I remember this is where I discovered the wonderful Chinese dumpling and other great delicacies. Even though I have lived in the Northeast since 1990, I still trek to Mr. Han's whenever possible when I visit my family. It's very difficult to find Chinese food in the US that is not ruined with too much oil and sugar. I lived in China for a year. Mr. Han's can get you close to the real thing. Try asking Eric Han for recommendations and let him know you want the real stuff. Chinese food can be healthy! Call a few weeks ahead for an authentic Chinese feast. Give this place a chance. They can deliver better than anything else in the Gainesville area.
