Service is Better than the Food.

I went to Nishino for the first time this week as part of the 25 for $25 promotion. I was impressed that they offered a wine pairing to go with each course for $9.50. I had the crab cake appetizer which was very good. The disappointment came when my entree arrived. I ordered the black cod and thought the dish tasted like burnt teriyaki. I tried to wash down the taste with the merlot that was paired with it, but the merlot brought out a distinct 'fishy' taste that lingered on my pallet. I decided to eat sushi instead. The sushi was average. Nothing spectacular. For dessert we had the panna cotta with strawberry sauce which was delicious and a flourless chocolate cake that tasted like it was missing more than just flour. Althought the service was excellent, I wouldn't recommend Nishino to my friends. Pros: Service, Free Parking Cons: Food, Noise
