Thank heavens there is still an alternative to the chain store pharmacies. They are busy selling cheap electronics, gaudy decorations, and cosmetics. Merrick is a real apothecary, where you can go for your prescription, but you can also pick up those obscure but useful things that all pharmacies once had. If you like herbal remedies, alternative cleaning, and natural products -- you can pay an arm and a leg at the natural food store for 2oz of some name brand, or you can go the Merrick and get a half-pound of the real active ingredients for 1/4 the price -- and do it yourself. I have had excellent service and am glad they still exist.
