Don't let the facade fool you. It's an older building and the hallways are a bit dark, and it's not the ""W"" ambiance. However, the rooms are better than most hotels and have been refurbished. Everything looks and feels new. It was surprisingly quiet at night considering this city never sleeps and the restaurants and bars are only two blocks away and Times Square is four (long) blocks away. Parking is $10 a night with hotel stay.
Pros: roomy, price, location
Cons: dark, no smiles
