Hmmm. The review, like most from this SF citysearch writer, is staid, stylistically dry and really boring. Who uses the rather weak term ""kooky"" in a bar review anyway?
Anyway, this liquor-laden lodge does resemble an eerie ""Twin Peaks"" episode, and, after about six of their strong drinks, your night will no doubt become just as confusing as well as unforgettable. Beware weekends: the crowds seem to have found their favorite Polk Gulch haunt. Unless, of course, you don't mind rubbing elbows (and other protruding body parts) with a friendly stranger.
