I've finally experienced first hand the bitter dissapointment that can only come from a famous and expensive restaurant. Loud, crowded with small, ugly uncomfortable tables and chairs. Slow and condecending service. Wine, when you finally get it is served in small, cheap overfilled glasses. White shrimp with chick peas was un-remarkable and the way over priced shoe string potatoes might as well have came from a can. The very dissapointing burger is a small very, very, salty puckish patty on a puffy square of foccacia type bread. the grilled onions were quite good, all three little pieces. It was served with delicious pickled onions, once you picked out the cloves and peppercorns. The famed Gateau Victoire might as well have been chocolate saw dust with a very nice dollop of whipped cream. Stay away.
