We've always had good experiences at Fiddlesticks. They've been accomodating of large parties, the beer selection is good, and the atmosphere always seems lively. Last week, however, we were seated at a table that was essentially level with our knees, our (not very busy) waitress was extraordinarily inattentive, and the Shepherds Pie was basically a mix between instant mashed potatos and Spaghetti-O's. Disgusting. The Southwestern Salad and steak sandwich got thumbs up, though. I'd recommend, but unless you want to deal with a Hoboken vibe, clear out by 10 pm on Saturdays.
