Steps of Rome Trattoria has been our favorite under old management and new. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming; the staff provides great service while being entertaining and singing Italian disco and generally having a good time. But the best part is the food. I have never had a bad meal or even a disappointing dish here. You can't miss with the daily specials board: the fish of the day is heavenly, the risotto always both subtle and deep. Some other favorites include the sweet, juicy, salty proscuitto e melon, the bursting with sunny tomatos bruschetta, and the gnocchi (little pillows of pleasure). Oh, and save room for the tiramasu. I must say, some of the other reviewers seem to have confused this place with the more casual Steps of Rome Cafe down the street.
