My family is from the NYC/NJ area, so you could probably guess that I'm pretty picky when it comes to Jewish deli fare. Having arrived in Chicago under the typical East Coast bias that good Jewish food just doesn't exist out here, I was more than pleasantly surprised at the quality of the cuisine at Max & Benny's. This is the real thing, youseguys, so whether you're an East Coast transplant, a Chicago lifer, or someone from a place where Jewish delis don't exist at all, you need to swing by this suburban deli for some authentic bagels or bialys!
