The entire staff is very friendly, but don't be afraid to call over one of the foriegn waiter or busboy if you need something, as they are not fully accustomed with the service standards of the City. You can even ask to speak to the chef for a special request or ingredient information.
The main course and side dishes are pretty good, something to be typically expected of an Indian restaurant. If you're on a diet, pass the salad (which is bland) and go for something like the Palak Paneer (Spinach with farmer's cheese).
It is best to go there for lunch, since they have the buffet and you can pick and choose AND get a better value than from the regular menu. When the owner is visiting his restaurant, he will often encourage you to eat more. All in all a pretty nice experience for casual dining.
