Ive just recently moved to California and i've been so eager to try any of Wolfgang's restaurants and this past weekend I had the chance to try Vert. I was surprised to have been seated for dinner on a Saturday night without any reservations. The ambiance was nice, very modern and hip. The service was up to par but the food, well, I wasnt exactly blow away. I had the almond crusted salmon and It was just "alright". My boyfriend had the pork chops and he too said it was okay. I was a little bummed because I was expected to be blow away. Maybe I just ordered the wrong thing. The bill was average. I guess you pay for the ambiance and the location. Great place to bring out of towners since its in Hollywood & Highland but go for the scenery, not the food.
