I believe this location, at 20th & Jackson in south Philly, is the original Nick's Roast Beef. They make an excellent sandwich. Hand-carved roast beef covered in delicious gravy, served on a kaiser roll. Add hot peppers and horseradish to spice things up. Order your sandwich ""overboard"" for even more gravy. Sandwiches are on the small side - you probably won't be full when you're done with one. At around $5.50 for the [small] sandwich only (nothing comes on the side), it's a tad pricey. The quality, however, is excellent. Recommended.
Pros: great food
Cons: small portions, a little expensive
