Excellent "new" Vietnamese, but pricey

Don't be deterred by the editorial review: this is not in a basement, it's right at street level. Over-designed chairs are awkward and goofy looking. Food was excellent: tasty, fresh, generous -- but certainly overpriced especially when compared to nearby Inner Sunset or Richmond restaurants. Dishes that should cost $6-$10 instead cost $9-$20, which is just absurd. Wine list was excellent, reasonable prices. Excellent non-Asian desserts too. Service was quick and helpful.
Pros: tasty food, prompt service, large wine list
Cons: overpriced, goofy decor
