Top REAL Sushi in LA

If you want real sushi and sashimi, and not some "Rainbow Parfait Magic Cinncinnati Roll," this place is the best value in town. It's one of the top-rated places among Japanese ex-pats; enough said. I prefer to call ahead for lunch (to see how crowded it is, not reservations,) but the waiting list clears quickly. My favorites for lunch are the sushi or sashimi platters; great hamachi and torou ... "It's the fish, dummy."
Pros: great fish, great value, great service
Cons: low on "atmosphere", parking tricky
