The staff was friendly when we arrived. The chef was inexperienced and sloppy. We went at lunch time and our party of seven all agreed that we felt rushed. The chef raced through the preparation of the food and kept dropping food as he served it. The chef also didn't portion well, so when he was serving things such as fried rice or vegetables, by the time he got to the last person at the table, they got much less than the rest. He was consistently bad at this. Try Nakato on Highway 51 for better hibachi.
