The first thing many people ask me when the find out I'm from Memphis is ""Where's the best bar b que?"". When I tell them Neeley's Interstate, the next question is ""Where's that at?"" This is the best kept secret in Memphis. A very low profile and low cost place that doesn't rely on hype to attract customers...the food will do that on it's own. The sandwiches are HUGE, and at under $5 a real bargain. My suggestion: try the bar-b-qued spaghetti and bring a cooler to take a gallon home with you.
Pros: food, price, friendly
Cons: location
