Snoqualmie Falls has a very natural Northwest beauty. There are numerous visitors so don't expect to be secluded. But a trip to the bottom of the falls is really something fun during the summer months.
I've found no better place to escape the eastside suburban sprawl than Snoqualmie Falls. It's close (about 45 minutes from Seattle). It's free. It's peaceful.
The hike to the bottom and back is pretty steep so be careful if you're elderly or bringing small children.
Pros: Beautiful, Convenient, Relaxing
Cons: Sometimes crowded
