This Howard Johnson's was the last stop of a cross-country drive. As tired as we were, we took one look at the room and asked for our money back. The room smelled like years of smoke and scant cleanings. There was a cigarette burn hole in the faded bedspread, and a film of grime seemed to coat the entire room. We'd stayed in other Ho Jo's accross the country, and all were great until this one. To be fair, at least our money was returned without any problems.
Pros: pets accepted
Cons: poorly cleaned, run-down
