Uptown is an interesting place to visit. However, there's only a certain section that's very busy and that's the intersection of Lake and Hennepin. Most shops are around that area also. It's nice for a few hours, but after awhile you'll need to move on to another place. This is most definitely not a typical family outing kind of place.
Pros: Funky shops, Unique restaurants, hopping area
Cons: PARKING, spread out, limited activities
