I went Wednesday night when DJ's spin HipHop, Reggae, etc. It was a good mix crowd racially and style wise. There was an interesting combination of your LA Hipster looking crowd and your low-key music lovers in adidas. The club is small (long and narrow), but well proportioned, the dance area is only slightly smaller than the bar area, and there is a very small three loveseat "lounge" area in the back. The ambiance really grew on me as the night went on with the glazed cement floor, the deep red walls, and the all wood bar. There was no cover and the drink was $6. The bartenders were friendly and actually smiled! One told me that "on Thursdays it goes off". But Wednesday seems like a good dance night if you like a little space. Apparently every other Saturday is Goth.
