LAX makes for a great date spot, if you genuinely like the person you're there with. Holding hands and wandering around the concourse is a lot more romantic than many people would assume. You can have a cocktail at the bar, completely fabricating stories about your life when the bartender asks where you're going and where you're from. You can catch a service in the nondenominational chapel. You can giggle over a shared frozen yogurt, then watch everyone pushing one another at the Southwest counter. Seriously, try it sometime. Park in one of the LAX longterm lots and take a free shuttle ride over to the airport.
