OVERRATED

Friday, December 27, 2002
Sears has been recommended by various guidebooks for a number of years, but has grown a bit long in the tooth. It's worth a visit if you desire worn out carpeting and booths; uniformed waitresses who have worked there for more than 20 years; their 'famous' dollar-sized pancakes. However, I don't see any reason to go more than once for the diner experience... You can find better breakfasts at Dottie's True Blue, a few blocks west, on Jones St. Pros: dollar pancakes, location
