I have been frequenting Izzy's for well over 7 years and have never, NEVER had a bad meal or experience. Within the walls of this establishment are great steaks served by real steakhouse waiters. I have a feeling the few negative reviews on this site are posted by folks more excited by French-Asian fusion or a large block of tofu than by a real quality steak served by a waiter in a white shirt and black tie. For an excellent meal for under $20 try the skirt steak with Izzy's potatoes and creamed spinach. MMMMMMMMM! P.S. the bartenders are some of the best around and not afraid to pour a heavy drink.
Forget the $50+ steaks at Harris, Ruth's Kris and the like. Izzy's has the best steaks in SF for the $$$.
Pros: Great steaks, Great drinks, Great prices
Cons: Can't think of one!
