We're not old, but Mulligan's was just too loud for us. The crowd is ecclectic and cool. The atmosphere is fun and inviting. The beer is crisp and cold. The only thing about this place that was not just what we wanted, was the volume. Even for a bar on a friday night, it was really loud. Sitting right next to my wife and I could barely hear her. Not exactly the kind of romantic atmosphere we wanted.
