I phoned Pepin and ordered their ""famous"" salad for 10 for my daughter's homecoming dinner 5 days later. I spoke to Harvey, who when I asked how much it would cost said, ""oh it's only salad, we'll see when you get here"". After waiting 20 minutes, I was handed a foil pan, a bag of rolls and a container of dressing, and a bill for $64.20. I almost DIED. Lettuce, a few tomatoes, a handful of olives and some parmesan cheese. The rolls were not fresh, I will NEVER eat there again, frequent the bar any longer, or recommend it. The food is okay at best, and to charge that amount for salad is absolutely ridiculuous. What a complete RIP OFF!
