After having visited museums around the world, I was shocked at the rudeness of the guards at SALM when I moved here. After several occaisions, I have given up on the "bad day" theory and cancelled my mebership. Their collection isn't good enough to justify the hassle. Add the pathetic choice of eats and inconvenient handicapped / stroller entrance, and the trip to the museum ceases to be enjoyable whatsoever.
Pros: great original bldg, historic location
Cons: poor parking, shallow collection, poor food choices
