Funky Warm Comfort

This is my favorite place for brunch in the city - a real Chicago original in a great nighborhood. Funky retro fixtures, vintage appliance colored walls, old dine-ette sets, and magic 8-balls to help you decide what to eat when your too hungover to think (on weekend mornings). We tried dinner last night for the first time and really enjoyed it. After starting off with the waitress' suggestion of the baked goat cheese (with pesto and red sauce) I had the fried chicken (this is a great fried chicken place!) and my date who is vegetarian, found several things to choose from, opted for the massive spinach lasagna. Our waitress Amber was terrific and really took care of us - thanks! Oh,yeah... cheap prices on bottles of wine too.
Pros: Inexpensive, Easy Parking, Good Service
