Uptown is the best movie theater in town! The old-style theater (complete with a balcony!) features the largest movie screen in DC – at 32 feet x 70 feet, it's IMAX-sized. The single-screen venue features first-run movies (it’s the perfect theater for action/adventure movies with special effects -- hence, the LONG lines fir the new Star Wars movies), but has shown classic movies on weeknights in the past.
