I was a student from K-12 at JEC and I’m not sure if a short review can do justice. As a quick summary JEC is similar to Kushner, TABC, Frisch and the such. The differences perhaps lie in a generally smaller class size and the leadership (which at this time is Rav and Rabbi Teitz). Teachers vary per grade, some are more modern and from Elizabeth while others are imported from Lakewood and are more yeshivash. The only way to truly know if this school is for you is to visit the school and then to meet with one or two students there and ask them frankly what they think.
