We recently had to have my wife's engagement ring resized since her ring finger is so small that the ring kept slipping off. We didn't really have a set preference, so we headed out to the mall and took it to the first place we could find. That place was Kevin's Jeweler's, which was a pretty good experience. It was a little expensive in my opinion, but they did everything on time and also did a very good job. We didn't have any major issues with them, so we would definitely have to recommend them to anyone looking for a new ring or just looking for a resizing.

We recently took our car in to get a smog check. It was the first time we had to do this on our own, our parents' always took care of it for us before our marriage. It was definitely the quickest trip to an automotive place that I have ever had. They were also really friendly...something I'm not used to from a lot of the greasy automotive people we unfortunately have to deal with when our cars break down.
I'm not always excited to take my car in to the shop, but this experience was surprisingly positive. We can't recommend it more if you need a smog check in the Brea area!

My wife went to school and is still attending Santiago Canyon College. It's a nice small campus, so the classes are easy to find. Also there aren't a lot of students there, so the teacher to student ratio is very small. It's a very clean campus, the landscaping is very nice and indicitive of most Orange county campuses. The only bad experience she's had is that they don't offer as many degrees as other schools because of their size, but that is minor gripe. Overall the school is highly recommended for anyone.

This place is a lot of fun if you are into waterslides and such. There's super fast slides for those that like thrills, kiddie areas for the young ones, and a relaxing lagoon for people that just want to relax. There's nothing like checking this place out on a hot California summer day. It's located in the world famous San Dimas...world famous if you've seen Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure that is. The place does get crowded however, so that can be kind of negative. Otherwise, there is nothing better to do each summer than to check out Raging Waters at least once!

When I made a student film, I needed hundreds of VHS tapes to transfer my film to. I had no idea where to go, but then someone suggested Edgewise. I checked out the prices, and the more you buy, the cheaper it is per tape. I purchased VHS tapes, DAT tapes, and a few other kinds of tapes because the tapes were so cheap. I can't recommend this place enough. There aren't very many places like this in the Orange County area, most of these places are located in Los Angeles. If you need media in high amounts, check out Edgewise!

Everybody has heard of the Rose Bowl. It's a great place to go check out a football game, and is synomonous of the biggest game in college football. I've had the privilege of attending a few games here, and it was a great experience. The crowds are huge, and they are always willing to scream and have a great time. The concessions here are expensive, but that is normal for any event. There was plenty of parking both times that I have been, which can be a problem at some stadiums. Definitely check it if you have the chance!

This place is fantastic. Every Saturday night they show a midnight movie. I saw the Goonies here a year ago and it was a great experience. The crowd really gets into the movies, and yells at the screen and such if the movie is one that demands it.
They also show limited release films here as well. If it's a really small film, odds are you can find here. The only problem is that they only have one screen...so not too much to choose from. The area is great...it's right in downtown South Pasadena. I can't recommend checking out the Rialto enough. Check out one of their midnight showings, it's a fun experience.

Wow this place is horrible. I worked here for three months, which was three months too many. I have never worked for anyone and had such a negative impression of them after leaving.
The job is testing videogames, which sounds like a lot of fun, but you spend the entire day testing kids games. They only keep you for a few months, and then they let you go. You usually find out about the "letting go" about five minutes before hand, and it is humiliating. Once they got rid of me I had five minutes to grab my things, and then someone had to escort me off the premises. It was completely out of the blue and unnecessary. It wasn't even worth the time I invested. If you are thinking of trying to test games for a living and see this place offering...don't fall for it!!

This place is fantastic. Unfortunately I can only go to look...prices for a new pinball machine average around $3000! They have a fantastic selection of games here though. Whether it is an old pinball machine or arcade machine, this place specializes in the hard to find full size arcade games. If you've got a lot of money to spend and are looking for a nice addition to your home game room, this place would definitely have something great to offer. My only gripe is the price for most items, but it is a price you will have to pay no matter where you get these machine from. Just check the place out to see all the cool games!

This place is a great place to go to find games for older systems. I went there trying to find a hard to find accessory for the Nintendo 64 and sure enough, they had it! The only bad thing about the place is that it is so expensive. There are tons of older games and accessories there that are completely overpriced. For that reason alone, it's often better to just check out some other places. If you don't mind the prices, you might want to check this place out. If it has to do with video games and is hard to find, odd are, are that they will probably carry it.
