Now I usually refrain from using words like "geek", "nerd", "brain-i-ac" (that one is my son's favorite) and such but when I talk about BEST BUY and the best parts of this store I HAVE to mention...
Now I usually refrain from using words like "geek", "nerd", "brain-i-ac" (that one is my son's favorite) and such but when I talk about BEST BUY and the best parts of this store I HAVE to mention the "geek squad"....they are great! Not only have they helped me to figure out my new phone but they have advised me on MP3 players, PDA's and computer "innards" (OK, I don't know the real word for it but they helped! LOL) So when I tell you that this is one of the best stores around with good customer service and friendly employees I'm not kidding...they are!
The next time you pass through on I-80 (it goes right past the mall and you might as well stop!) check out the BEST BUY...I promise you won't be sorry...and bring that phone you just bought with you...they can figure out how to change your ringtones too...always a positive when you have a teenager like me who likes to torment Mom by changing settings she can't figure out herself! Happy shopping!

I have long been a fan of PIER ONE but in the last few years I have realized that although PIER ONE is a corporation and has stores all over the US, every store is unique to its area and thus each store must be treated as a separate business. PIER ONE in Coralville, adjacent to CORALRIDGE MALL, is one of those unique stores. Not only can you find the requisite wicker and rattan here but you can find some of the nicest dinner and glassware around, not to mention beautiful accents for your home. I have found the employees here to be extremely friendly and helpful...so much so that they have even gone to the trouble of checking at different stores until they found exactly what I was looking for. Their dedication to the customer is a definite asset to this business.
It should be noted that PIER ONE can be a bit on the high side price-wise. But in addition to that higher price you purchase some of the finest handcrafted items around. It's just like Mom used to say..."you get what you pay for!"
the next time you are looking for some beautiful wicker or unique accents, I invite you to try PIER ONE...I think you're going to love it as much as I do!
