Their store used to be much smaller, but over they years they've expanded to meet demand. Now a corner store on busy Main Street. They're a bit more expensive than your Home Depot, but you're getting better quality than you'd find at the larger stores. Also, the staff at Metropolitan Plant Exchange know their plants. Great selection and if you have any questions on the care of your plant will be answered by their experienced and helpful staff.

Whether it's for one or one hundred, they will do whatever they have to to track down and fill your order. They keep a number of tuxedos on hand so you might even be able to walk out with one immediately, but I've never been disappointed. A long-time staple in the area, they have a track record that speaks for itself. For a clean tux at a reasonable price, this local shop is the place to go!

One of the biggest draws is that it's conveniently located in Fort Lee, NJ so that when you're on your way to Manhattan, you can quickly pull up, grab your paper and then leave. There's street parking and they also share a parking lot with a couple other stores, so you won't waste much time looking for a spot. They also feature items that you may not find in smaller news stores that don't deal with the number of customers this one does, so if you're looking for a good cigar or a souvenier, you can pick one up here while your lottery tickets are being printed up.

If you want your pictures framed with care, then this is the place to go! They'll take any picture or delicate document and take great care in framing it to your satisfaction. The price is abit high, but you get what you pay for and I enjoy the peace-of-mind that the results will be more than satisfactory every time. The knowledgable staff can also recommend frames that will not only work best for your picture, but keep it within a price range you can afford. The one negative thing about this is that it can take up to a month to get your results back depending on how busy they are, because many people go to this place an they do take care in getting the job done right.

This diner is within earshot of the George Washington Bridge - the gateway from New Jersey to upper Manhattan. This diner is fairly small but you can usually find a seat. The food isn't spectacular, but you can do much worse than this place. Service and decore isn't anything to write home about. The place is open all night which makes it easy to get something when you have those late night cravings and it's a much better alternative to some of the late-night fast food places around. Although they have their own parking lot, the lot is cramped and it's somewhat of a challenge to maneuver your car inside when someone is trying to leave. Luckily there's a municipal lot next to the restaurant but you'll then have to walk up a 30 degree incline.

Imagine eating French quality food served by an excellent service staff while you sit by the water looking over at the Manhattan skyline. That is where you would find Arthur's Landing. You could serve McDonald's next to this view and still consider it romantic, but the food is so much better than that. You can order anything from this menu and you will be impressed. This is perhaps the best food I've had in all of New Jersey.
On special holidays and by request, they can also create personalized menues for you and your guest, whether it's for Mother's Day or for that special someone you want to not only impress, but you want to overwhelm. When you think of romantic places to go out for dinner, this should be at the top of your list.

Too many Chinese restaurants in the area claim to serve Chinese food, but what you end up with has been so Americanized that it's more American than Chinese. Not so here. They have a wide selection of great Chinese selections that you're familiar (and not so familiar) with, but they also have a Chinese menu. This menu has more Chinese on it than the regular menu and the English descriptions are not as elaborate, but the items are REAL Chinese food! These are the items you don't see on the regular menues and it's a welcome sight!
The service is friendly; the decor is rather plain. However, Sally Ling's raises the bar for Chinese food you can find in the area.

Fresh Homemade Ice cream and fresh toppings create the draw to this local slice of Ice Cream heaven! The place has recently been refurnished and the walls are decorated with images and articles of the past, but no one really cares sas long as the ice cream is this good!
They do have a small food menu, but quite honestly, for the same reasons you don't buy roses at the gas station, I would not buy food here. I don't mean to say the food isn't good - I'm just saying that you come here for the ice cream!
As a side note, the owners love to play soundtracks as background music. Try and figure out what movie the music is from, or simply ask the owner.
