With some of the freshest fish this sushi restaurant should be at the top of your list if you are in west Los Angeles. They also offer a full menu of cooked Japanese cuisine. Prices are very reasonable and the sushi chefs are willing to make special items not on the menu. If you go with a large group reserve the huge table in the middle of the restaurant.
