this is one of my favorite place to find used stuff. they have a great selection of just about everything. it is one of the better thrift stores ive been to. they have a lot of furniture, tons of clothes, lots of dishes and kitchen items. great kids section, lots of books and magazines, and some great little odds and ends.

this is a resale and consignment shop for womens clothing. if you want some really out of dates clothes from the 80s this is your place. otherwise youre going to have to get lucky to find something you like. ive found some things there before though. they are also a bit overpriced and i do not know whether this is because the consigners get to set thier prices, or if they just think their stuff is actually worth that much. watch out though because i once bought a pair of pants i knew was overpriced and when i got them home they button was all messed up so i had to fix them anyway.

this store does alot of stuff in the tcu community. they show up to football games and take pictures of the fans and the game, they sell tcu merchandise, they do the pictures at graduation and other events, especially greek events. my impression of flash though is unless youre involved in the greek, meaning fraternity sorority, community of tcu, they really dont want to have anything to do with you unless you buy some stuff in their store or until you buy your graduation pictures. my roomate applied for a job there and they wouldnt even take her application because she wasnt in a sorority. i thought that was pretty inappropriate. also, they seem to really want tcu kids money, but when i asked for a monetary donation or even a tshirt for a tcu sponsored charity event for a local food bank, they wouldnt even talk to me.

this ocuntry club has been around for a long time, just like the housing area its in. sometimes you might have a great experience, and sometimes you might swear youll never go back. ive been there for many reasons and had all kinds of experiences. the golf course is good, one of few around so a membership worth it just to not have to drive farther if youre a golfer. a friend told me she went to a wedding reception there that was a near disaster, so look into that really carefully if youre considering using it for an event.

this thrift store is fairly new to cleburne. i was there a few days after they opened and was not too impressed by what they had. i think that it is owned and operated by a local church so i think their stuff comes from people in the congregation. they were nice though so i would go back when i have the chance.

I was not interested in a machine for sewing or embroidery but I have heard good things about that aspect of the store also. Try it out if you are an experienced tailor or just a beginner like me!
