What a coincidence, they are husband and wife. Tera did a good job and helping us through our first home purchase, and having the patience when we were indecisive. Clegg Chiropractic is a great place to get adjusted. I found him from looking through the local yellow pages, and I was happy to see that he offered a free 1/2 hour massage with my first visit. My previous insurance paid the entire bill for visits. I have not been going as regularly. Now that you mention it, I think I will give them a call to schedule an appointment.

This convenience store seems to me like the quality of a Arco AM/PM gas station at the price of a Chevron. In fact just a half mile away there is a Chevron that is usually cheaper. I stopped here once a few months back. I drive by this station every day, to and from work. It seems that they have recently become a higher priced gas provider.

I called around for the best deal to fix my starter. I was almost positive that was the problem. I had a coupon for a free 1/2 hour estimate from Made in Japan. I had heard that my car might have a related problem with the solenoid, which could be more problematic. I dropped off my car at Made in Japan and left the coupon for the inspection. In the end, I discovered that they did not even look at the starter. They left the car parked where I had left it and tried to start it. From the sound of it they decided that I needed a new starter. Well, that was not helpful. I was not impressed. To top it all off their quote was the most expensive of the four quotes I got.

My starter went out on my 1998 Honda Accord. Since it is a 5 speed, I was able to compression start it to drive it to the mechanic. I called around and Has Tech was by far the best price. I bought the starter at the local car parts store, with a lifetime warranty. And Has Tech installed it for $65, just for labor. I saved well over $100. Lucky for me, Has Tech is located on my way to work.

I chose this smog check center for two reasons. First it was located close to my work, in North Highlands. Second, and more importantly, I had a coupon and this smog check station was only $30. Unfortunately, my car did not pass the check the first time because a small hose popped off. They showed it to me, and replaced it for $8. Not a big deal. The computer showed that it passed the first time, but they insisted that the test needed to be redone. Their sign states that one retest is included, but they charged me for an additional test. When I asked why I had to pay for another test, they said it was because I used a coupon.

The selection at Mel Rapton Honda is impressive. I needed some touch up paint for my 1998 Honda Accord and it was in stock. I would not be surprised if they actually have an entire stock of most parts. That was a good experience and it was only $6. To top it all off, they are conveniently located on Fulton Avenue.

Since I always shop around for the best deal, I was pleased to find that this brake shop would replace my brakes, using parts that I supplied. Since it is much cheaper for me to buy the brakes, I saved a bunch. The downside is that I had to replace my brake drums as well, which I provided, since my old ones were worn down below the acceptable spec. I guess I can't blame the shop for following the regulations.
Well, I paid them $50 for labor and I was clear.

I recently injured my wrist while playing ultimate frisbee (I was running down a disc and an opponent knocked me over). I have broken a wrist in a similar injury and the symptoms were closely related. I went into the Hand Surgery Office and saw one of the doctors. He was very knowledgeable and I was fortunate to have a specialty clinic so conveniently located (right off the J-street Exit on business 80).
After an MRI my condition was completely diagnosed and I am on the road to recovery.

I recently took my car in to Bertini's to have it looked at. It was making some terrible sounds. I was given an estimate of $84.60 to determine the problem. Just a couple of hours later I received a call with an estimate of the cost for repairs. Although I didn't end up servicing my car at Bertini's (I serviced my car at a cheaper repair shop), I would consider them to be a great choice for quality work. You can often find a 10% off coupon on their website (Bertinis.com).
Price is not the lowest, but you can be confident that they will do a quality job. Additionally they seem like a straight up shop. When I picked up my car, they only charged me half of the estimate ($32.30) since the mechanical diagnosed the problem in only a 1/2 hour.
