At the same time, you can always find a unique and exotic plant or flower here - and you can of course always find the more common plants and flowers.
They also have a wide range of gardening supplies, and pots and soil - everything you need to do your gardening, whether it's in the backyard or on a balcony.

This is not that kind of place.
This is the kind of place that makes you wait because it's part of the experience. This is the kind of place that has different pricing levels based on who cuts your hair and how much experience that person has. And this is the kind of place that loves to spray all kinds of ook into your hair.
The hair stylists I encountered here were all nice, and professional, but it's just too much - I'm going to stick to a plain old barber.

They have very few unique items, but they do have some very nice and somewhat less common items on display (and of course for sale). Prices are reasonable given the state of the collectibles market.
Baseball-related items tend to dominate the collection, but they also have football, hockey and some basketball items. it's a decent place to browse, but I seldom buy anything here.

But if your tastes run more towards, say, dogs playing poker or James Dean and Marilyn Monroe sitting in a diner with a little neon lighting tube running through it, I'm sure they can hook you up.
They have many framed and ready to hang pieces, and a nice variety of oversized pieces.
That said, there is nothing - or little - here that is particularly unique.

Prices are surprisingly reasonable for many of the pieces, although some prices are shockingly high. I'm not quite sure why there is such a big array or pricing, but I guess there is a system to it.
If you are looking for some home furnishings or decorative items, this place is worth a visit - if only to see some things you might never consider for your home.
Staff is very friendly.

I find this is a good place to get unsigned 8 by 10 photos of current and retired baseball players. They have a wide selection, and a decent price. And if you have time, they can usually order photos that are not in stock.
They also have a lot of baseball cards, if you're into that, as well as a selection of collectibles and other forms of art.

Persan's has been around forever, and they have everything. You don't need one of those mega-stores when you live near Persan's - and the staff is always willing to help you find what you need....

The aisles are literally packed with items, and you're likely to find something you know you need - but forgot all about - just walking up and down and looking around.
It's the best hardware store in town - and better than most in any of the nearby towns, too.

The Dali museum is unique: it is the largest museum in America dedicated to a single artist, and holds the largest Dali collection outside of Spain - including some of his most recognizable works.
Whether you are a casual observer or a Dali fan, don't miss the guided tour - there is always something new to learn.
The gift shop could be a little better - the should have more fun with the surrealist theme and create some more unusual objects to take home, but that's about the only weakness.

It's organized fairly well - but not so well that you won't find unexpected treasures around every corner.
The prices are reasonably, but it's great to just spend some time and wander around. They also have some semi-rare books for sale and on display.

They have some amazing things at Hall of Heroes, and they do a little of their own signing so you know the pieces you buy are really authentic (not like a lot of other little stores).

But you do pay - big time - for the experience.
I find this a great place to look around and see some great collectible items, but I don't buy too many things from them because their prices are so high. Some of the prices are literally staggering. I guess it's the nature of the business right now, but it would be nice if everyone could afford an autograph from their favorite athlete.
