This place has the absolute best chicken wings in the entire area. They make them nice and hot, but not so hot that you can't eat them.
The pizza here, on the other hand, is pretty close to mediocre. If you want pizza and wings, you're almost better off getting the wings from Massaro's and ordering pizza from another pizzaria.
The sandwiches here are also decent, but nothing to write home about.
But it's worth coming here just for the chicken wings - it's that good!

This place may be the best value in the Hamptons.
This is a microbrewery, so they always have a selection of beers made in the building on hand. You can drink them in the bar/restaurant, or take some home in a "growler" container.
The beer is good, but there is something even better on the menu: the chili. This may be the best chili I've ever had. Certainly, it's the best chili on Long Island, possible even in the entire northeast.
Beer + chili = a very happy stomach!

These are quite possibly the best ribs I have ever had - and I am a man who has eaten plenty of ribs.
Everything about these ribs is perfect: The sauce, the amount of meat, the texture - there is simply no describing these ribs.
The rest of the menu is fairly standard - including a variety of typical BBQ restaurant dishes. I say: stick with the ribs. You can't possibly go wrong.
They have a giant piggy balloon above the restaurant, so you'll know when you are getting close. Bring your appetite!!!!

This is a tiny little store with a small selection, but they always seem to have a bouquet for every possible occasion.
They often have a small stand outside with some daily specials if you need a bouquet quick, and the prices are very reasonable.
The staff here is friendly, and they seem willing to make any kind of bouquet or arrangement you need if you don't see what you want.
It's located near the train station, so yeah - you can surprise the missus by making a quick stop on the way home.

This is a geek fantasy - and I mean that in a good way.
Amok Time has all the latest toys, but not the kind of toys you get at the typical chain toy store - these are more the special collectible toys based on movies and off-beat characters.
They also have models and model kits - including some that are quite complex.
And they have an amazing selection of vintage toys. And yes, it's true: if mom didn't throw out your toys, you'd be rich right now.

This is not a gimmick steakhouse. You won't find them cooking at your table or anything like that. What you will find is the best steak possibly ever, served around a fine meal and with an incredible selection of wines.
You will pay for the experience - Bern's is quite expensive, dinner for two can run around $150. But it is worth every penny if you are a lover of steak.
They also have a dessert room upstairs - their homemade ice creams are especially delicious.

These people are FAST. Maybe not always 28 minutes fast like the name of the store suggests, but they do an amazing amount of work in a very short space of time.
And the prints are almost always of great quality - they really take their time with the negatives and get the best out of even lousy cameras.
They will also do your passport photos and other official photos.
The only problem is parking - parking is terrible around this place. There is some parking in the back, but even that lot fills quickly.

Amelia Furniture is a great little furniture store that outdoes all the big guys. They have a great selection on display, and their catalog special orders are truly unique.
Tell them what you're looking for, and chances are they will be able to find it - either on their extremely packed floor, or in one of their extensive catalogs.
And of course the prices are very competitive - in fact, I was surprised at how much we got for a few hundred bucks.

Nice Carpet is just that - nice. They are very nice people, and when they come over for an estimate you can see how conscientous they are.
Their cleanings are top-notch. They do a very thorough job and they do it using proven methods to lift the dirt out of the carpet - not those fancy gimmicks that claim to clean and dry completely all at once and leave the stains in place.
They also do carpet and flooring installations. They are real pros.

Gray's Papaya is a NYC institution and a bargain when it comes to food - just don't spend too much time wondering how it is that a hot dog in Manhattan can be so cheap!
The hot dogs here are the perfect blend of juicy inside and crispy outside. They have all the basic NY topics - which is, not much: ketchup, mustard, relish, onions and saurkraut.
But that's all a hot dog needs.
The drinks here are horrible - they claim to be healthy drinks, but... blech. Stick to the dogs.
