They have a good selection of rackets and tennis shoes. Their prices aren't the lowest, but seriously do you ever see tennis gear discounted?
However, the name Fiorini Sports is misleading. They actually have equipment for only a limited number of sports: tennis, skiing & swimming were the only sports I was able to identify on my quick walk around. No ball equipment (soccer, baseball, football, basketball, etc.).

I just visited Alki Beach for the first time. It is a great place, and reasonably convenient from downtown.
The beach itself is roughly a quarter mile long and has great views looking out into the sound. The sand seems to have been trucked in, as the actual shoreline was mostly comprised of small pebbles (still easy to walk on). It had a good number of people hanging out, playing volleyball, tossing footballs, and generally having a great time. Although there were a lot of people it didn't really feel crowded.
You can reserve fire pits and grills in advance (don't expect them to be free when you arrive).
There is also a small event hall that can be rented (there was a wedding reception being held there when we visited).
Opposite the beach, there are lots of bars & restaurants that all look like a lot of fun. The area is known for stellar Fish & Chips.
A long shoreline park runs south of the beach, and offers great views of downtown Seattle. This is a great spot for a long walk, or possibly a run.
Although there were a lot of cars around the beach, I didn't find it too difficult to park, although I can see it being quite challenging.

I visited Vashon with friends a weekend ago and rented kayaks from Puget Sound Kayak Company. Rental was easy, they kayaks were in good condition, and the experience was a lot of fun.

The pros of masterpark:
- valet park in a covered area
- quick shuttle to the airport
- call them when you land and they pull your car up for you at the lot
The downs:
- crowded pickups during peak times. I had to wait 20 minutes for a van that wasn't full
- lines at the counter. After you get dropped off at the lot, you have to wait in line with everyone on your van to pay and pick up your car
The suggestions:
- walk to the first pickup island, so that the van doesn't fill up on its way to the third island. You'll substantially reduce your risk
- apparently they have coupons online that you can get.

We ended up at Bal-Mar after dinner at the Matador. Bal-Mar has two floors, although we spent all of our time on the top floor. The main bar is located there, in addition to two pool tables and large windows overlooking the street below.
Bal-Mar has an upscale urban feel to it, with high ceilings, exposed brick and a cool suspended metal/wood staircase connecting the levels.
The crowd was more dressed up than I'm used to in Fremont, and slightly older than the Belltown set. Overall a great bar and lively scene.

Pabla has solid but unspectacular Indian food. We also had the thali dinner - as mentioned by other reviewers, it was quite filling, and we struggled to finish it. We found their tandoori chicken to be fairly dry and not that flavorful. The lamb curry was the highlight of the meal, and definitely worth returning for.
Definitely be careful with the spiciest version of the food (even the medium is fairly hot). If you're at all sensitive to hot spices, make sure you opt for mild.

make sure to ask them to go light on the aioli. The sandwich is rich in a pungent, spicy sauce along with onions grilled to perfection. They don't hold back with the mayo, so if you're not a huge mayo fan (like me), ask them to limit the aioli.
They officially stop serving sandwiches at 5, although I was able to get one at 7:30. Judging from the other reviews, it looks like people have had decent success getting them through 7 at least. It seems like they serve them until they run out.
There are a few plastic tables inside, although many people order to go, or eat out in front on nice days.

Thanks to recommendations from JB, I thoroughly enjoyed dinner at Nishino. Their nigiri pieces are extremely well prepared, fresh and high quality. However, they truly excel at their rolls and hand rolls. Their Foie Gras served nigiri-style is incredible and is reason enough to visit Nishino (or to come back).

I think Chris said it best in an earlier review - you totally feel like an insider just finding this place. Tucked in an alley in the corner of Pike Place market, the Alibi Room is cool, but not overly hip bar. We stopped by for a light dinner and a few drinks and enjoyed ourselves. The service is awful though - very slow. Apparently they used to have a great view of the sound, but the windows now overlook a newly constructed wall.
On the way out, make sure to check out the wall in the alley that is filled with gum.
