The experience at Mistral was impeccable. The service was attentive, the interior nicely understated, but the food stood out.
Ordering at Mistral is really quite easy. You simply have two decisions to make: 7 courses or 8? and with wine pairing or without. The rest of the decisions are handled by the chef.
Each course comes delicately and flavorfully prepared. The courses each worked in several very distinct, but complimentary flavors that were often expressed in drops of sauce or a flavored foam.
The meal was the most expensive I've had in Seattle by far, but it also was the best meal by far.
