Go for the cured meats

Tuesday, September 12, 2006
Somewhat hidden in plain sight, Le Pichet is a very cute French Bistro on the edge of Bell town and Pike place market. They chef seems to love 'organs', as they were featured in a number of dishes. We enjoyed sitting outside on the small patio, although the interior was both cute and warm. We greatly enjoyed the cured meats plate, which featured several carefully cured meats, and also gave us our first excuse to try beef tongue. Our group sampled several dishes, but the standout was certainly the grilled chicken with sausage. The pork leg was a little mealy and difficult to eat through.
