We found an ad in a coupon book and tried Daniel Boone's on a whim. I had the "all you can eat catfish" special and my wife tried a chicken fried steak. I ate two pieces of fish, hid the third under the pile of limp greasy fries and waved off the offer of more. The instant mashed potatoes on my wife's plate brought back childhood memories of the original TV dinners.
With the discount coupon, dinner only cost 25 cents so it's hard to say we didn't get a bargain. We tipped the friendly waitress $10 just for fun.
Perhaps the burgers are good but we won't be back to find out.
