The Austin Ice Bats and the Expo Center is a great experience, at least once. The atmosphere is charged, and the place is cold. The beer is ever flowing, and the prices are just right. The fights on the ice are really wild, and are definitely something I have never seen that up close and personal. They have a half time toss where they throw out t-shirts, and they also have volunteers that help out the crowd. I have volunteered thru work a couple of times and gotten free tickets that way. Parking is immense and cheap!
