What used to be just the Banner Elk Cafe has been remodeled and added onto so now there's essentially two restaurants in one. You can sit indoors at either restaurant, or outdoors between the two and order off of either menu. There's a lot of variety and it's really nice to sit outside in Banner Elk in the summer. The drawback is the wait staff always seems overworked and slow. Maybe it's because they're going back and forth between the two different restaurants. It's worth a try though if you haven't been.
