Lately, they have sold out when I've been there just past 7pm and I've left. The pork sandwich is worth the trip--- Macrina bread, carmelized onions, naughty aioli and fresh romain lettuce with a delightful pork selection. A side salad with beets and a great vinagrette is yummy too. Perhaps call ahead to see if they still are making the sandwiches and save yourself the trip.

We've been to this place over 30 times and never once had a bad experience. The ingredients are fresh, the tastes are just right (just sweet enough, just spicey enough) and the wait staff is usually in rush but never make you feel rushed. Tawon Thai across the street is a close second but this one is tops for Fremont.

There are few places that I feel truly content and satisfied with each visit besides my mom's kitchen. I am so happy about this business. They just know how to do it right- all of it. Their daily soups are usually the bomb- pureed sweet pea soup, carrot ginger, etc. The sandwiches- a Rachel (turkey ruben) or summer vegetable and lately they have a bbq chicken with a corn jicama relish that may be an all time fave. Don't miss it.

If you haven't gone, I don't know where to begin. If you have, I have to give a few specific food tips so that you don't miss some great finds. This store has great products, great packaging and service and best of all- great prices! Here are a few faves: tzatiki, great cheese selection, excellent veggie potstickers, great vodka pasta sauce (for 1/4 the price of Whole Foods) aussie licorice, edamame, endives for a good price, grass fed beef and organic chicken, great smoothie materials (frozen berries galore), 2 buck chuck (Charles Shaw wines),etc. Supplement your trip with some organic veggies and fruits and you are good to go!

After realizing we couldn't fill a crate while traveling in Asia, we were happy to arrive home to find this great source for beautiful teak pieces- large sturdy tables, nice chairs, benches etc. We've bought a few pieces - they call it on approval. You get to take it home for a week and feel it out. We have also found that the prices (for tables especially) can be a bit over the top- we ended up with a very similar table from Crate and Barrel. Apparently they have a big sale in October- keep your ears open!

you'll love Top Pot! You can also set up your laptop and work there for hours with donut smells wafting across the room (the shop on 5th ave has a sweet wireless set up). The donuts are delish, the environment is cute and they serve a nice cup of cold milk. If you like an airy donut- head to Krispy Kreme.

Best beer selection in the city (well, maybe Whole Foods has a chance...) and very knowledgable staff. Right in the heart of Wallingford on 45th- it is often looks closed- that's because they don't let the light get in there and damage those precious brews. If you are a beer lover- you'll find amazing ales. If you aren't experienced, the boys behind the counter are jumping to take you on a tour and teach you the ropes.

Sure on the outside the lights look a bit cheezy and the space seems too small- don't be fooled. Sea Thai is the gem of Wallingford and they deliver for free in a pretty wide zone! We have eaten there several times and have found highlights to be: panang curry with tofu, green curry, pad see yoo, and drunken angel (peanut sauce over spinach), etc. The service is great- friendly and talkative and the food is top notch.
