If you want real sushi, you gotta go to Shiro's. I Love Sushi and Toyoda are both good, but Shiro's takes the cake. It's not overly trendy or kitschy like those "modern-interpretive-sushi-bistros"...

It's not overly trendy or kitschy like those "modern-interpretive-sushi-bistros" you will find elsewhere in the city--its authentic "real deal" sushi. To find out what that means, go to Shiro's, ask to sit at the bar and eat whatever is given to you... its all very fresh and good! Its the best in Seattle, the price is worth every penny!

I am a college student, and I really like the haircut that Miss Cherry gives me. Cherry owns the salon and cuts hair herself. She is very friendly, and her price is very reasonable (I paid $11)....

everytime I've been to toyoda sushi, it's always packed with locals. it is a north seattle meeting place. the service is good despite the high volume of customers for its modest sized interior. i think the atmosphere is very friendly. the sushi is top-notch and so is the sake.

Teriyaki Time is better than most teriyaki shops. I especially like their unagi (eel) teriyaki. It's a nice shop and the people are friendly. Definitely a good spot to get lunch!

These guys take a long time to make food. I had a really good blackened chicken sandwich--but it was greasy and messy. Their food is reasonably priced... I'd say its worth a trip for lunch if you're...
