At night time on weekends, the place converts into a Cosmic Bowling atmosphere, where they turn off all the lights and turn up the music. You can bowl unlimited games at night from 10-2 for only fifteen dollars, which also includes shoe rental. The place is usually pretty crowded, so wait time might be required. Also, on Monday nights, there are bowling specials, starting at a dollar per game. Bumper bowling lanes are also available.

The Paramount Theatre is located in downtown Oakland, and is conveniently located very near the BART station. The theatre features a wide variety of artists and provides an intimate setting with its 3,000 person capacity. The theatre's interior is elegant and pleasing to the eye. However, remember not to bring food to the theatre, because they will not let you bring it in. Also, the security guards are very strict about camera phones; they make you wait by the door until they get your phone checked out. Don't let your camera phone be visible.

I had my prom photos taken there and this place is usally really busy during times of formal events like wedding season and prom season. You should expect that since this place's popularity is a product of its quality. Don't be intimidated by the length of the lines because they shrink pretty fast. They offer a wide variety of prom packages with student affordable prices. They also offer some pretty nice backgrounds. Their staff is really efficient and professional. Even though the place is packed, the staff still showers each client with inidivual attention.

I have been there for 2 cleanings already and both cleanings were performed very thoroughly. They also took X-rays to check out my wisdom teeth. While I admit I don't floss as regularly as I should, they cleaned my teeth rather aggressively to the point of constant bleeding. I would recommend this dentist only if you are older than 18. I think children and adolescents wouldn't be comfortable. They have always been very professional in sending me reminders of my semi annual appointments. They are always prompt and I have never had to wait more than 2 minutes to be seated in the dental chair.

This is definitely the place to visit when youre trying to cool off on a hot summer day. Cold Stone doesn't even compare to the quality of Rick's. You can either purchase your ice cream there or opt to take it in a container back home. The ice cream there is so rich and creamy it's almost like eating a stick of butter. Probably not good for you if you have any sort of high blood pressure or heart problems.

This could be considered a historical landmark. The renovated theater carries an art deco style but still can pack a good amount of people within its theaters. While other theaters might be bigger, this one still plays the mainstream films but also several arthouse or indie films get put into the playlist here. Other theaters like Century Shoreline or AMC Mercado are $8 for student but the LGC is only $7 with student ID. Definitely worth coming out to catch the classic movies that replay on the big screen.

They also offer video games for rental on all platforms: PS2, Xbox, Gamecube. The attendant isn't very friendly though and acts very snotty. There porn collection which is located in a rear room seems to be just as large as the regular movie collection.

They tend to keep their baked goods in the window a little bit longer than they should be. They could at least offer these stale goods at a discounted price.
