If you are in Indianapolis, you must go visit the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Hall of Fame Museum. The museum is located inside of Indianapolis Motor Speedway. The museum has a collection of previous Indy 500 cars and memobilia. It costs only $3.00 for an adult and $1.00 for 6-15 year old kids. The price is very reasonable and you lean a history of Indy 500 race.
There is a nice gift shop inside the museum. They have nice selections of Indy 500 and other racing suveniors. We took my family to this museum when they visited us a few years ago. I get impressed every time I visit Hall of Fame Museum.
