There was a brief time that I got sucked into the whole Gymboree thing. I mean, their clothes are darling, but I just don't think they're worth the price. Seriously, $50-$100 for a child's outfit that's just going to get spit-up and spilled on is a bit much.
That said, for special occasions I can see getting an outfit on occasion, particularly if it's on sale. The good thing about Gymbo clothes is that they really hold their value and if they're gently used you can get a good price out of them on ebay.

For the most part I love the clothes at the Children's Place. Some of their lines are a bit over the top, but most are cute. My favorite thing at this store are their Monster Sales. I think they take place two times a year at the end of seasons and the prices are fantastic. I usually wait until they go 30% off the clearance price and stock up for the next year.

We started the building process before Beazer bought out Trinity Homes. The transistion was rough, but overall we're pleased with our house.
The main complaint would be how hard it was to get anyone out to take care of things when we had problems the first year. It seemed like you'd have to call a dozen times just to get someone to respond.
When they did respond there were several times that they sent out relatively incompetant people. Eventually, the jobs got done, but I don't think it should have to be so difficult.

We used to love the Disney Store at Castleton Square. It was a huge store that was fun to browse. I was really disappointed when they moved into a much smaller store. Now it's too crowded and they don't carry as much merchandise as they used to.
We still like some of their products and they have good sale prices.

I had never eaten Chick Fil A until I met my husband, who is an avid fan of their chicken sandwich. Now that I have kids we visit there much more often.
We really like the free-standing stores because they have play areas that are just the right size for younger kids. When my daughter was too small for the playland at McDonalds she was able to climb to the top of the one at Chick Fil A.
They also have nice kids nights where you get a free kids meal with the purchase of any combo meal. Some stores even bring in clowns or balloon people.

I used to go to the Flower Factory in Ohio all the time with my mom. So I was thrilled when we got one in Indy. It's a wholesale flower, craft and party supply store. You used to have to have a business to get membership, but recently they have opened up membership to the public, and have even had promos where they give it away free.
The prices are great on some things, and not so good on others. You really need to have an idea of the prices things go for so you know if it's a good deal or not.

You know those little samples of chicken teriyaki that you get in the mall? Well this is that place. I have to say that I really like their food. I get a craving for it every couple of weeks. I love the teriyaki chicken and you get a large serving, for a decent price. The best deal is to spend the extra dollar for double meat and you'll have plenty for two meals.

We've had an Ashley Furniture Store in town for a year or two. I had never bothered going in, just assuming that it was another high-priced furniture store.
Recently, we checked it out and were pleasently surprised at the prices and quality. Though the furniture may not be as high of a quality as some stores, the prices are great for furiture that will still last you 10 years or more.

I think Kohl's is a nice store. It's sort of in an in between category. It's more along the lines of JCPenney and Sears, quality-wise.

We love the $5 books and stuffed animals that Kohl's sells to benefit charity. They are usually really nice books by popular authors in a hard back format. For $5 it's a great deal!
